Edgars Pigoznis managing director of new SIA GLC Baltic
GLC looks back on five years of successful consulting activities in the three Baltic States. Starting in 2003 with consulting services for the Panbaltic real estate group ARCO VARA GLC successfully realised several corporate finance and financing projects for companies in the renewable energy sector, in farming industry as well as in logistics and in the real estate sector. The excellent market knowledge and contacts as well as the financial expertise of Edgars Pigoznis as managing director of SIA GLC Baltic will now perfectly complement the wide experience, know how and good company networks of GLC in Latvia. SIA GLC Baltic has already won several new projects, such as an m & a consulting project in the real estate sector, an expansion financing project in the farming sector and consulting assistance in establishing and financing an international joint venture.

Edgars Pigoznis has graduated from Riga Commercial School, Latvian Bank College and has received MBA diploma in Touro University in the program „Banking and Finance”. Starting from year 2000 he is active in private business as a consulting and investment project leader. He is a co-owner in several companies offering consulting and other professional services.
First working places were Riga Commercial School, Latvian Stock Exchange Academy and auditing company Price & Waterhouse. E. Pigoznis started working for a German-Latvian bank (nowadays Hansabanka) in 1993. He established and managed the representation bank in Moscow. He was a member of the board, vice president and finally a managing director of corporate services department of AS ”Hansabanka”, where he worked till year 2000. Starting from year 2000 he is a consultant of the commercial services department of AS ”Hansabanka”, as well as adviser of the commercial bank „Absolut” (Russia). In 2001 he became a director of one of closed investment funds „Direct Venture Capital Investments”. He purchased shares and established several companies that are active in consulting and investment management branch.
Starting from 2000 E. Pigoznis participated in buy out and reorganisation of several companies, as well as managed investment projects in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Moldova, Croatia and Germany.
